Study paths
Programs with a destination
Single classes teach skills — a program turns them into something you can show: a recording, a concert, a band of your own.

How a path works
Every path bundles three things around one goal: a weekly core class, time playing with others, and a finish line — a studio date, a stage date, or your first full songbook.
- One core class each week with the same teacher and group
- Ensemble or lab time to use the skills in context
- A clear outcome: a track, a concert, or a first performance
- Small groups — nobody hides at the back of the room
Not sure which fits? Start with any class — your teacher will point you to the right path after a couple of weeks.
Path one · Writing & recording
Music Technology: from voice memo to release
For writers and tinkerers. You'll compose in class, then learn to capture it properly — microphones, takes, edits and a mix you can send to anyone.
- Weekly composition class: melody, harmony, arranging
- Studio labs on real gear — no experience needed
- Listening sessions that decode your favourite records
Pairs with Music Composition
Path two · Stagecraft
Advanced Performance: own the stage
For players ready to perform. Weekly ensembles, coaching on sound and stagecraft, and real concerts every term — setlists, lights, applause.
- Weekly ensemble matched to your level and taste
- Coaching on tone, dynamics and talking to a crowd
- Two concerts a term on a real stage
Pairs with Vocal Performance
Path three · Beginnings
Music Foundations: first notes to first band
For absolute beginners of any age. Theory you can hear from week one, a taster of instruments, and a gentle on-ramp into playing with others.
- Theory essentials taught through songs, not drills
- Try piano, guitar and voice before you commit
- A first ensemble when you're ready — usually by term two
