Learning music the enjoyable way

Sablewood started with one belief: lessons work best when they feel personal. A teacher who knows your taste, a group small enough to hear everyone, and songs you actually want to practise — that is how our first studio grew into a school for children, teens and adults.

Today our timetable spans classical roots, jazz, pop and production, so you can chase the sound in your head while your technique quietly catches up.

  • Private lessons and small, friendly groups
  • Classical, jazz, pop and studio production
  • Ages 5 to adult, from day one to advanced
  • Showcases, bands and recording sessions

How we think about teaching

Musicality is built, not inherited. With steady guidance and songs worth practising, almost anyone can learn to play well — and that conviction runs through every timetable, group and concert we put on.

  • Start at any age. First instruments from age five, and plenty of adults returning after decades away.
  • Skills serve songs. Exercises and theory always circle back to music students picked themselves.
  • Nobody plays alone. Bands, choirs and ensembles turn weekly practice into lasting friendships.
